Prioritizing maternal health in Smithfield and Isle of Wight County.

Helping Moms

Smithfield Moms Collective is here to bridge the gap in the Western Tidewater region by prioritizing maternal health and physical and mental well being.

Often, women can have difficulties in finding the resources and help that they may need after having a child to support their own health. Our goal is to provide resources and group-based support efforts, prioritizing maternal health.

Support for Mothers

Whether it's your first child or your tenth, we're here to support you on your journey.

While we are here to help support your efforts with having and raising a young child, our primary goal is to be a resource for your physical and mental health and well being by providing structured education, open discussion, and collective support so that you can be the best version of yourself. Although we welcome all, at this time our educational series will be primarily geared at supporting those less than 2 years postpartum.

Preparing to Become a New Mom

We also invite moms-to-be to join us and to utilize us as a resource.

With endless advice available out in the world, from blogs to family and friends to books, it can be hard to synthesize it all. We aim to put together a group and a collection of resources to provide you with a mix of evidence-supported insights and resources to help you better take care of yourself as you prepare for your little one.
